  • Awesome family photo op day at Stevens in Hoboken:

Just wanted to share the goodness and faithfulness of our Lord: this morning I decided to give a $25 cash offering at church. I gave, specifically telling God that I am not giving to get anything in return, but only for the sake of offering something to my Lord. Later on that day, I received $100 out of the blue, and then found $20 on the floor at one of the rooms in Stevens! So basically, God honored my heart and my giving, and turned $20 into $120! Without a doubt, these are the kinds of things that increase one's faith. Thank you Lord!!

  • At the end of my rope, however unworthy, I always seem to find Him waiting in the quiet solitude.

  • Gird up the loins of your mind, think clearly and exercise self-control (aka. Spirit-control), and look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you. Live as God’s obedient children and don't fashion yourselves according to your former lusts- you didn't know any better then- but now you must be holy in everything you do. (1 Peter 1:13-25)

  • God simply AMAZES me sometimes with divine appointments: so my new physical therapist (for my back problems) is a friend who I have not seen for TEN years. He was the 1st person to share Jeremiah 29:11 with me, a passage in Scripture that has become one of my "life verses." His passion for God back then really made a lasting impression on me, and he used to always try to study the Bible with me- it was energizing. Some major/essential theological differences caused us to part ways, but I honestly always liked him. And of all places, I run into him in BORDENTOWN, lol. Somehow we just instantly recognized each other.. it was pretty cool..

Main Event: @ the Millenium Theatre to watch "JOSEPH"!

    My wife and I .

I can't even begin to tell you how AMAZING this production/performance team is.. "Sight & Sound" truly lives up to its name. They've got a huge stage with some real state-of-the art props, side stages on the left and right, live animals, aisle usage, ceiling usage, beautiful lights, a flying Joseph (!), but most importantly, TIMELESS messages.. about forgiveness, integrity, perseverance, humility, faith, and trust! They even give a Gospel presentation and offer staff counseling, which I found to be just awesome. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would DEFINITELY recommend Sight & Sound Theatre shows (the largest Christian live theatre in the nation by the way). Can't wait to go back....
