Gird up the loins of your mind, think clearly and exercise self-control (aka. Spirit-control), and look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you. Live as God’s obedient children and don't fashion yourselves according to your former lusts- you didn't know any better then- but now you must be holy in everything you do. (1 Peter 1:13-25)
