  •        Even if you don't believe in God and the fact that the land belongs to the Jews, the truth is: Israel won that land in war, paid for by the blood of their people. To give it up so easily to the Palestinians is just wrong. Furthermore, if the move is in the name of peace, what makes people think that the Palestinians will be satisfied, when they are already claiming: "Gaza today, the West Bank and Jerusalem tomorrow." No wait, see, settlements on the West Bank were also part of the pullout. They won't stop until Israel no longer exists. The pullout was a bad decision, which will have many repercussions.

Israeli forces remove protesters from a synagogue in Neve Dekalim, Gaza, on Thursday.

    Emotional
An Israeli man was shouting at an Israeli officer, "You're my brother, how can you do this?" In the midst of the shouting and yelling, the soldier just hugged the guy and they both wept for their people.
Israeli officers were trying to get protestors to disperse, and they were met with tough resistance. The officers, rather than using brute force, joined the protestors in prayer and song, and then the people dispersed.
The Jewish people in Gaza may be orthodox Jews who do not believe in the risen Jesus Christ, but God still has a heart for them: they are His precious, chosen people. Just the same way God had a heart for you, longing for your salvation, redemption, and love, before you came to that point and made Him Lord of your life.
They say pictures are worth a thousand words. God's eyes are wide open, don't sleep on Him.

An Israeli policeman comforts a Jewish settler Wednesday during the forced evacuation of Neve Dekalim.

Trying to shame Israeli troops, a settler holds her baby in front of soldiers waiting Wednesday to evict Jews from their settlement of Neve Dekalim after the deadline for voluntary pullout had passed.

Israeli police haul Jewish settlers into a bus during Wednesday's forced evacuation of the Neve Dekalim settlement in the Gush Katif community.

A Jewish settler escapes from a bus loaded with people removed Wednesday by Israeli security forces from the Jewish settlement of Neve Dekalim.

A Jewish settler shouts early Tuesday in front of burning tires used by protesters to block the path of Israeli soldiers at the entrance to Elei Sinai, a settlement in northern Gaza.

Jewish settlers wave flags behind a burning barricade during a clash with Israeli police as they try to prevent policemen from carrying out their disengagement mission in the settlement of Neve Dekalim.

Hamas gunmen carrying rocket propelled grenade launchers march near the Israeli settlement of Neve Dekalim, in the Gush Katif bloc, on Tuesday during a rally.
The Hamas rally in southern Gaza occurred as some 2,000 people, most of them children and teens, marched through the center of the Palestinian town of Khan Younis to celebrate Israel's pullout from Gaza.
    from www.dictionary.com:
Hamas- n : a militant Islamic fundamentalist political movement that opposes peace with Israel and uses terrorism as a weapon; seeks to create an Islamic state in place of Israel; is opposed to the PLO and has become a leading perpetrator of terrorist activity in Israel; pioneered suicide bombing.
important NOTE: this is only an extreme group of people, not representative of Palestinians or Muslims as a whole

Palestinians flash V signs from a car decorated with Palestinian flags as they head to visit security posts in the Rafah refugee camp, next to the Jewish settlement of Morag, to celebrate Israel's pullout from Gaza.

Palestinians celebrate news that the withdrawals are going forward in the Ein-el-Hilweh refugee camp near Sidon, southern Lebanon.

A young Jewish settler hops down from a stool Sunday after spray painting in Hebrew, "The Shitrit family lived here happily, our house in Elei Sinai forever."

Settlers stand at a locked gate in Neve Dekalim.

This is not a "good guy" and "bad guy" kind of thing. So who then gets to decide what is just? I think that national leaders are sincere in their good intents for peace, but you always have to ask: does the ends justify the means? This is a very sensitive, but serious, matter. That is why it is important for God's people to intercede and pray for everything that's going on. I have a strong feeling that this will affect everyone.
