  • A Note of THANKS ....

    First of all, I'd really like to thank everyone who has been faithfully praying for me and my situation(s). There are no words to express my appreciation. Really.... and I've been doing my best to faithfully keep up in my own prayers for others.

    Next, thank you so much to Justin and Liz for holding my two 300 lb. barrels in their house while I was back in the States. You guys are awesome and were really a huge help to me.

    Now a HUGE thank you to Eze and Chika for taking a homeless boy in (lol). Thanks for giving me a bed to sleep on and most importantly, great fellowship. It did take me a few days to find an apartment, but I ultimately decided on the very first place I looked at thanks to a heads up by Eze. Thanks for everything and I love you guys .

    Thanks to everyone who took the time to greet me "happy birthday." Man, I am so blessed that God has placed a ton of wonderful people in my life. All the words and sentiments mean the world to me.

    I'd finally like to thank Michelle (who set up the dinner) and everyone who was able to come out to Tomatos to have dinner with me. I really had fun, and I love how you guys always put a smile to my face. I really really appreciate you guys! Here are the pics from my camera:

    .:: thanks for paying for me michelle & ed!! ::.

    .:: ed is the devil on michelle's left shoulder and i am the angel on the right
    (sorry i didn't do the angel face daphne! i should've!) ::.

    .:: my sentimental picture of tomatos at night
    and then us at the shacks in our futile seach for ice cream  ::.

    My friend Paolo from my uncle's church in Lucena (Philippines) made me a bookmark with my name on it as well as the Scripture Reference Hebrews 12:2 on it. I'm holding on to these powerful and encouraging words:

    "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the
    joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and
    is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

    And then I got this beautiful passage from my good friend Dave:

    from Isaiah 55
    Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; and
    you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without cost...seek the Lord while He may be found;
    call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and
    unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He
    will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly
    pardon. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways
    My ways," declares the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the
    earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your
    thoughts."...For you will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace;
    the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before
    you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

    Lana, I absolutely love this picture of you, and I love you beyond what many people can understand.

    Please hang in there- we will make it through together.

    I believe in the promise of the joy set before us, we just need to endure the cross.

    Our hope is in the Great I AM. The third cord is Christ Jesus (Ecclesiastes 4:12b).

    He honors a pure heart, that seeks hard after Him. I believe that.

    Our patience will be more than worth it.

    Mahal na mahal kita.
