I'm not sure what I think thus far. I agree. But what we believe is controversial by nature. We believe in one way to one God, and we believe that people need to repent and come to the cross. And we believe those who don't go to Hell. People don't like that. (on video 3)
This is very true bro. He makes a lot of points throughout the movie, but they all point to one main theme/plea towards Christians and non.. in response to your comment, it's not about compromise, it's about tact and love. There will be people we cannot reach for whatever reason, but if we are in tune and sensitive to the culture we live in, if we are humble and remember to repent and confess before we accuse, and if we truly care about what God cares about (loving others truly) and not what our flesh cares about (being right or "winning" an argument), I believe we will all be surprised at how much more effectively we can build strong, lasting, and meaningful relationships. Towards the end of the movie (the last few parts), I was really touched, moved, and convicted by the radical acts of love that he used as examples. I am excited to know that I have the rest of my life to show and live out that kind of love, and I pray that by God's grace He would help me to do that as best as I can. Love you Ethan, thanks for checking out the movie!
A friend called while I was watching, so I didn't get to finish, but I will watch the rest of it too. And I pray that He uses both of us as you have mentioned. Thanks brother
No problem bro- it's a full-length video, and I know you are busy with rotations so no worries. Whenever you do get a chance to finish it, keep an eye out for the liberals vs. conservatives game, and how out-of-touch the conservatives were, as well as for the reverse confession booth in the middle of a gay pride event. The night watch ministry they mention also moves me every time... I have no doubts that God will CONTINUE to use you man. Amen.
